Raceway Kia is looking to hire an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our fast-growing team at our location in Conshohocken, PA! For the Automotive Technician role, we are looking for someone with prior technician / mechanic experience and a desire to advance their career. We are offering a signing bonus of up to $5000 for the ideal candidate for this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a diagnosis of vehicles based on customer needs and initial inspection performed by service advisors

• Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards

• Provide recommendations for any additional services needed based on initial inspection and assessment during service

• Communicate with service advisors about any additional work needed, any work that is not needed, or if services cannot be completed within the proposed time frame

• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs were completed successfully

• Document all work performed and recommended on repair order and return completed documents to service advisor upon completion

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of customer vehicles and service center

• Attend factory-sponsored training courses

• Abide by all attendance and work shift requirements

Job Qualifications

• 1-5 years of automotive technician / mechanic experience required

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive trade school experience is a plus!

• ASE or other automotive certifications is a plus!
• Emissions/Inspection License a plus!

• Working knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance, electronic diagnostic equipment, and other new technologies in the industry

• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

• Must be a team player and able to work well with others

• Attention to detail and able to be detail oriented

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
